Lotha Tribal Traditional Necklace


Handmade with love by women artisans in Nagaland. Lotha traditional necklace of Nagaland. The orange beads are called “Senthan”, while the white component is “Tsükro”, which used to be made of ivory. Apparently, the Lotha women wear this necklace where the five orange strings are said to represent the five days after birth, before a Lotha girl child is named.
